Perch this beginner telescope on a lab bench and introduce students to the physics and anatomy of a refracting telescope. Try out the eyepieces on distant earthly objects to demonstrate the magnification or focus on the moon and stars at night. Features a 2" diameter lens, 360 mm focal length, and two eyepieces, and a 14" high tripod. A diagonal mirror houses eyepieces to show right side up views. With the 6 mm eyepiece, achieve a range of magnification between 60X - 90X and with the 20 mm eyepiece, achieve a range between 18X - 27X. Overall telescope length approx. 17 inches. |
