AC powered neon bulb demonstrates alternating current.  Bulb flashes twice each cycle or 120 flashes per second.  When at rest, bulb appears to be continuously illuminated.  When rotated in a circle, flashes of light are obvious in a wonderful pattern of light and dark.  Dazzling in a dark classroom!  Length:  6 ft.   Recommended as teacher demo only.  GFCI outlet recommended.  See tips and activities for more info.  Sold as a kit, but easy to assemble.  Soldering iron required for assembly.  Click below picture to show final assembled product.
