When will my order be shipped?
If the item is shown on our web catalog, it is in stock! All items are in stock and usually ship in 1-3 days unless otherwise noted. (Most orders shipped next business day.)
How will my order be shipped?
Orders will be shipped via UPS Ground unless otherwise requested. Some orders may be shipped via USPS Priority Mail at no additional charge. Call 1-800-519-1724 to arrange for faster shipping (additional charges apply). Deliveries shipped from the East Coast to US Destinations. Allow six days to receive deliveries to the West Coast. We are sorry that we cannot process international orders at this time.
What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping chart applies to shipments in continental U.S. Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii will be charged actual shipping costs.

What is the sales tax?
Most orders are sales tax free! However, there are many proposed changes in state and federal laws with regard to internet sales.
What is your privacy policy?
More formally, The Physics Toolbox, Inc., hereinafter called The Company, collects and saves in its data base the minimum information required to process orders and to secure and record payment for same. This information may include the name and institutional affiliation of the person placing an order; the tax status of the ordering party; the phone number of the ordering party or office; the purchase order number assigned by an ordering institution; the name of the person initiating the order, if known; the address to which the order is to shipped; shipping and deadline instruction, if provided; the address to which the invoice is to be sent; the phone number of the party or office responsible for paying the invoice; the name and catalog number of each item ordered, as well as the quantity and unit price for each item; the date the order was placed or was received in the mail; the shipping date; the tracking number if applicable; the date of mailing the invoice for payment of the order; the total amount due for the order; and copies of any correspondence generated with respect to the order or the payment of its invoice, including a voided photocopy of the payment instrument and any past due notices which may be generated in pursuit of payment.
The Company will not share this information with any other company, group, nor individual except that after due diligence to collect an outstanding balance, The Company finds it necessary to refer the account for collection.
